Encircled we were but joined evermore

Until I could find peace of mind

And showed me that life could be kind

I grew in your love as we walked the path
I learned about loving from you
You came to me from pain's aftermath
And taught me that love could be true

And now it is time, to let you go free
And love is enmeshed with the pain
But one thing I know 'tis your face I'll see
When once more I'm lovely again

Stand and be proud, walk tall to your fate
You did all you could and much more
You showed a new path, I once walked with hate

This is hauntingly lovely, Keth... We all think about the song of love being of togetherness... but love is also putting another's best interests first. This parting isn't one of bitterness... but of gratitude and hope... Beautifully sung!

Keth..this is absolutly poetically brilliant in its phrasing, and rhymes divine.
As for its expression of heart...stunningly lovely in its sincerety and heart wrenchingly beautiful in what it speaks of unselfish love.
So nice to see your name back in the blue.
