Blindfold of Love

Ours is not a love that's to go unseen
take off your blindfold, open your eyes.

You have to see the glow on my face
the twinkle in my eyes.

See my waltzing steps as i walk along
leaving footprints in the sand.

You have to see the blu of sky, at the
break of day, and the full moon shine
so brite each nite.

My eyes are not blindfolded for you
i see all the things of beauty and also
the mystic ways of you.

So my darling remove your blindfold
so we can see love togeather.

I see you've found a way to dance through the darkness. Good poem.

Haven't we all been blindfolded at times, only to have our eyes opened by true love?
You wrote it well! Keep on writing, you seem to have a handle on romance!

Blessings!

Oh, yes. She must take her blindfold off and see that cute glowing face with the twinkling eyes! She'll be staring into the depths of a bottomless well of love...

Love & Eternal Light for the two of you,

I remember I've read it somewhere in one of Shakespeare's works... it sorta means that love is blind, as Cupid himself is blindfolded.

But Glenn, you've put it in a very lovely way! If love is blind, and we're all blindfolded, how can we see the beauty in our loved ones? How can we see the all that is in his/her eyes? But of coz, it could also mean that we're blinded to the faults of our loved ones?
