Revelation

I sit within a shadows gray
And wonder on the light of day
To see if I can find a path
Perhaps a way to take a bath

To scrub my body free of dust
And let my mind indulge in trust
To melt the fear away from me
And stop this travels odyssey

For mist impales my every dawn
And answers disappear each morn
Night is full of fancy whimsy
Never stays it is to flimsy

And so I follow fantasy
Sip its cup for ecstasy
But argosy’s come to port
With cargos of despair and thwart

So day still turns to shadows gray
And night will not reveal the way.

My moon was held in shadowed mist
and still I felt the breath in this,
a write, a sight, a way to view
thoughts encumbered, in the blue...

but know I well, from days gone by...
whatever you write? I sit, with Sy...

Good morning, sweet man!

Great thoughts to ponder here, and I agree that it's much nicer to drink from fantasy's cup...(which can be done while soaking in a tub full of bubbles!!!!) Loved this, Sy!!

Faith and fear. They say if you have faith you can't have fear. Ha! I sure can, at the same time, too! Grins.

Enjoyed this.

Morning Sy!
Is it okay if you have tea in fantasy's cup today?
Good..just brewed a pot..my sister will be along soon with the eats.
How I enjoy your morning pearls of wisdom.

Goood mooorning, Mr. T. !

If you cannot find your way in the light of day, may I suggest lucid dreaming in the dark of night?

Warm morning hugs,

Exactly! You nailed it -- caught the feeling, that to be ready we first have to cleanse the distrust from ourselves, open our pores to it....

Revel not in dreary dread of dark's duress ...
find thine's impress in midnight's caress.
'Tis upon sparking stars comes this promised wish ...
born on beam of moon, dreams come true on silver kiss.

Embrace eventide's ebon' dusking desire ...
comes the night ... comes the instill of inspire.
When the dark gives way to morn's dance of day ...
comes the sun's second chance in dawning display.

Find thy delight in midnight's invite of infinite insight ...

JM,
You have lit a light of nights bizzare
And strummed then on a hot guitar
I'd dance your dance of fantasy
If it were just an argosy.
But it goes beyond a dance of whim
To me it is more a hymn.

Bill,
Thank you my friend.
