waiting here
for a few million words to flow
for thunder
to scream and lightning
to set
alight
this modern-day page
web-page on a web-site
this bulletin board

waiting to write
in fresh words, unwritten so far
of the same thoughts
of hurt, angst, pain
felt so many times
over and over

seeking within for newness
very deep
and then climbing
to scale the mountain
after having known
the depths of
the bottom:
blocked

abracadabra (if that be allowed)
unblocked
and unlocked
though not necessarily
in rhyme

as the rain falls
so do a few words
like tear drops feeling lost
in the puddle
could have done with a cuddle,
perhaps
when the open gates
were rammed through
by the bulldozer called Love
and left behind
uncharitably
bruised

but then time heals
or at least provides an antidote
is it only me or
do you see the sarcasm in the word
antidote as well?

well, my world is split
into multiple layers
hidden beneath a mask
though the aim is not to mislead
only a desire to spare the world's ears
from more stories of miseries
and preventing eye-sore

no, I am no messiah though
ony a little child
with a brand new dress
(almost) happy
glowing in
the light after dark
the dawn after the night

so what if it may be
some temporary glee

(and the writing of a zillion more
meaningless words

let it flow
let it flow

before someone dams the river
to prevent an overflow)

You always achieve that goal. *S* It's good to see you posting again, my friend... especially when you share such treasures with us. *S*

You have so accurately described a hunger
that courses veins of many poets.  I know
this feeling well.

Thanx for sharing it.

I'm not going to do any damming... Keep the river coming!
