oh yes.

Always
mixing colors fast
afraid
acrylic dries repast
dazzling the lights
she blends
and beckons with her shades of gray....

Oh Little One, does it ever feel the hunger, though?

Man, I felt this one.
I think I need to go to bed. I'm missing
him just too much tonight!!!! I need to go to sleep!!

Goodnight and sweet dreams....

Heart hugs
Ethel

(smiles) Oh Sue, this is beautifully passionate, sweet friend, I think to paint with our hearts intentions and following our intuition makes everything come togeher and then we can see exactly what the colors are for! (kiss on cheek) I love this, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

be glad to be able to fill it with paint,
think of the alternatives
short, but powerful, as always

Wow.. Do I ever know this feeling.. it reminds me of when I get a picture in my head.. whether I want to paint it, draw it, or take a picture of it, and I can't rest until I do, and it's perfect.  Now that's the kind of hunger I like

you are far to young and far too pretty to be devouring the bland just to satiate a hunger....

snow white
      unblemished spread
canvas stretched
Taut nerves belie the ease
words flow onto brush
coloring even grey
with touches of green
on storm clouds
dabbed from one corner
broad stroked rain to follow

Dip again the fine point
of your tongue to words
and paint for us
the scenes
the lives
and love

Have to say my massive love of Jimi Hendrix drew me towards your poetry but the quality of the poems made me stay (although I was disappointed not to hear about butterflies and zebras and movies etc) I've read about 4 or 5 of your poems but this is definately my favourite, it breaks my heart that I am effectively impotent when it comes to skills with a paintbrush.

idle - thank you for your kind words and for bringing this up -
I seriously doubt you cannot paint - all you need to do is hold the brush in your hand - the colors flow from there . . .
sometimes my colors need a lot of mixing

ahhh . . . a Hendrix fan - you have my attention . . .

thank you
xxoo
