Hear the squeak of screen in wind, feel the weathering beneath, tiny chips to show the breech of care and all the underneath-- look away when you walk in pretend there is no empty space grit the teeth in a clenched jaw and do it, like it's always been. Smell the scent of "own" and know no longer can you call it home. Just a finger from the spine has changed the book and end of time in the small way that he had... like spaces inbetween the words. |

how halting are the spaces that are inbetween the words, like chopped fragments of memory, like cracks in porcelain, (and yet in some cases like life inbetween lunchbreaks - if you know what i mean )great write here O Serene one... regards sudhir |
