Love is like the wind
roping in the sunset
tamed among the clouds
riding on the heels
kicking up a storm.

Passing at a glance
breaks against the wall
what will be will surely be
drifting closer to the shoreline
turned down by the sea.

Crashing over waves
rocking in slow motion
dancing freely
dipping lowly
castled in crescendo.

This is really special!  I can just picture this person, looking out at this magnificent sunset, on a breezy early evening, right before twilight. Feeling the mist in her face. The wind, blowing her hair around... being stirred by the majesty of nature.

Walking along a sea wall... scenting the musky smell of the ocean, and marveling at her gentle, yet persistent power, as she is subtly enticed to continuously crash and tumble onto the shoreline.

Each time, letting out a gentle roar, and a magnificent spray of mist.
Emulating the meeting of two, very able and passionate bodies.

One steadfast, and secure, the other... fluid, and timeless...

A remarkable poem BluesSerenade!

Thanks for sharing it with us,

Richy

Lori,
Such talent! I'll never know how you do this. It is that special heart you have I'm sure. That or a wonderful vacation that has inspired you to new heights@

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

BC~ That's right, love is fickle like the wind,
there's no predicting when it will change direction
and sweep us off our feet!     Thanks Bill~

May love and light always shine upon you!

Noah~ thank you for shining your light my way.

Joe~ Dust in the wind can certainly blur my vision.
Thanks for the nice reply~

Raph~ I think we were replying to each other at the same time.  Hey, no need to apologize and no hard feelings what so ever.  You weren't the only one getting testy...it takes two, I'm mean it's only fair to slice it down the middle, but you can have the bigger half.      Peace brother~

Very nicely said, Lori.....love can indeed be like the wind. It's only when it turns into a tornado or hurricane that the problems begin!
