Sad Eyes

the saddest eyes
I have ever seen
are pasted across
the night
time
taught stars
how to cry
with tears
glowing
from one
dark crevice
to another

I really liked this. It is a sad poem but well written.

That was amazing.  The imagery is beautiful and the words are meaningfully heartfelt.  Lovely.

A whole universe, filled mainly with darkness?

It does have a rather empty feel about it.

Hopefully, as in life, the majority of those sparkling lights, aren’t always sad, but instead, bright glimmers of hope.
