Eznorbrevlis and Krischer
.
he was the silver-bronze hatchling
they called him Eznorbrevlis
he danced among the clouds
and plunged beneath the waves
and played mystical antics
with his bonded human youngling
.
she lived in a cottage in the forest
very near where the water
cascaded to the lake
her name was Krischer
.
In her mind she was dipping and diving
thru clouds, spiraling and hovering; then splash
she shivered at the bite of the water
as she realized she wasn’t even wet
.
A silver-bronze blur outside the window
intruded on this adventure
as silly musical musings
flooded her mind
.
she smiled opening the cottage door
then again, that blur
in the thicket closest to the shed
she peered around the corner
as a spiny tailbob disappeared into the shed
.
she crept as quietly as she could
keeping her mind blank
throwing the door open wide
she stopped in her tracks
.
there he was in the middle of the shed
amidst empty flower pots
garden tools and other utensils
leaning against the main timber
head resting against straw bails
wings curled around himself dripping wet
fast asleep!
.

No one writes
the dragon's plight
better than you do~

Compelling read ... creatively magnificent~
