It was a year ago, yesterday,
that I saw your smiling face.
For what seemed like would be the last time.
Before I began to cry,
tears of depthless end.

But now a year later I can smile,
because I know all the while.
That you are in heaven,
leading the small angels and holding their hands.
Teaching them in heaven,
just like you taught me here on earth.

I know that together,
you made and impact that will last forever.
Your smiling face,
looks down at me.
I see you everyday.
Smilin' down on me.

When it is over,
I know you will shield me.
and From the darkest corners,
you will light the way.
And never let go of the hands you hold.

For you have engraved the hearts of many,
and will forever be my teacher and forever be my guide.
I will look to you,
and learn from you.
and I promise, I love you.

A nice tribute on the anniversary of Ginger's death. Bless you for your faithfulness.
