I step inside
this house of glass

Soft sweet rush
rainfall
drowns me

Your soul melding
permeating my being

Alluring me with
words  . . .  wisdom
spoken
yet hushed silence
you . . .

Surrounding me with
mixed mingled essence
perfumed presence
blended into . . . two

Intoxicated with hope
infused with warmth
I look then
for the flower

Seperating this from that
the reds and yellows
Peering praying
blindly searching

I lose myself
within this garden
magical paradise
the spectrum of you

Trying to determine
if one of these
is actually the one
that pulled me here

To the glass

In the first place

Hey Litle !

Some make poetry with their head some with their fantasy.

But when you can feel the heart that feels the word which is written i think you are a poet.

And i feel the feelings in your words thats written.

The transparency of this house of glass shows a delightful atmosphere and feelings that touch the heart of the reader. Mine for sure.

Its a marvel isn't it? How she took a few off-hand lines and turned them into this bit of beauty?

Thanks folks, for the reading, and the very kind responses.

I do love to write, when I don't have to write. This was like that.

What a most precious idea to have a Duet represented in the Anthology. Your poem shows wonderful unity and presence of mind to write as if you were both writing as one. Very well done. Your poem definitely reads and gives a mental appearance as perhaps a most wonderful butterfly and/or bumblebee heaven to me. Intoxicating images here. (Huuuuuh Chooo!!!) Thumbs up to you both.
