My love, please go
to the well of my soul
For it overflows with tears
of sad yesteryears.
Do not drink of it just yet
as it is toxic.
You were called upon
to extract the poisons.
With love and patience,
it can be purified.
Then you may sip
of the authentic me.

Pat,

Wonderful in more ways than one.

The concept is beautiful in this.
I enjoy your writing a great deal.

I especially liked this:

With love and patience,
it can be purified.
Then you may sip
of the authentic me

look forward to more

Patricia, toxic?

Perhaps only to
the unenlightened...

and this...
should shed the appropriate
light on the subject.

Enjoyed this, my friend...

May these beautiful and powerful words you write serve as a cleansing to your deep spiritual waters...and to those who read them. Thank you.

I liked this the first time and even more now.

Absolutely, yes, toxic...

I do understand that 100%.....

Love your mind....Hugs, Pat

Patricia - do not yet yesteryear bind thee, for the future brings promise always. Hope all is well with you...

Patience lets the overflow
of tears evaporate
Culminating in the clouds
awaiting their escape
Streaming down in torrents pure
to quench a lover’s thirst
Moistening our lips so parched
A kiss felt like the first

Patricia,
Oh great, great poem! Oh that all our poisons can all be purified by another.I believe it is true, I really do!
