It’s cold and it’s dark tonight
But I know you’re listening
You’re gonna get me through
Right now and forever
Don’t blame me for laughing
I just can’t believe we ended up like this
I never thought I was good enough for you

I’m trying to take this smile off my face
I don’t know why
It just feels kinda funny
I didn’t know I could feel this way
You just made it all happen today
And I won’t forget it
Not forever

I’m not gone
I don’t have to
Tomorrows gonna come
And I won’t be down
Right now I’m smiling
Because I just love the way
This feels

It was cold and it was dark tonight
But I didn’t need a light to see
You brought me to reality
Now my dreams don’t matter so much
I don’t need them to keep in touch
With my sanity
I’m just here smiling

I don’t need to stop this
It’s perfection
My life’s turned corners
And I’m going up
I just can’t fall down now
You made this real
It’s everything I wanted it to be

I’m not gone
I don’t have to
Tomorrows gonna come
And I won’t be down
Right now I’m smiling
Because I just love the way
This feels.

I just want something,One thing,Can’t you let me have someone,Anyone,Just for me,And this is what I seem to be,To everybody,Your last resort
