Fate’s Silhouette

I wish
that fate
would have
let me
love you

              a little more

but time
brought it’s salt
to wash
away the shore
I backed away
in silence
and faced
to the way
things set
catching one
last reflection
of the sun
and moon
in silhouette

I think of you writing this poem at the crossroads of your life.  It's at this point when you realize how much, or how little, fate means as face the trial and tribulations of a life that's far from perfect.  I love it!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Helen, fate can do such cruel things to us, and God has a reason for everything I'm sure but I just wish fate had less of a pitch reflection to it! (sad sigh) This is poignant and straight-through, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I can sooooooooo relate to ALL of your writing here lately.

Please know you are not alone.

And I pray that eventually you will realize that "he" is not worth all of your pain and that "he" will soon fade into just a memory to be left on stained pages of white.
