Passion embarks on drawn-out journey it sputters it hurries it loses patience and drops its remnants forgot where he's from erased the path from which he came and with only himself to blame Passion embraces its long-lost friend the one who was always there the one that will remain until the end eternity laughs in his face and love comes around to fill his place father time yawns and lays down to rest passion came and went leaving love the only one left |
