Chronicle

In the chronicle of my lack
Lies the yoke within the sack
A small percent of time and tour
And just a little touch of lure

Desires lead me by the hand
I danced to music of the band
Fell within the dreamer’s mist
On puckered lips where I was kissed

But who pulls not adventures bow
A little danger held in tow
Adventure that is part of life
And never thought about the strife

We all make voyage and log a book
A journey, with a one-way look
Face our stars uncertainty
With gusto and alacrity

Your Chronicle may not be mine
But time will turn the wine to brine.

Sy, I happen to enjoy the way you share
your chronicles with us each day.
Wish I could be a little more like you
and write every day...
You are one amazing man!!

It suits me well, this Chronicle
of age and time and certain pull
of tales well told as events unfold
of silver lines rhymed well in gold

Your Chronicles are aged with fuss
but shall never, ever, gather dust.

Seymour - and when all is said and done, are not all of our chronicles similar in one way or another? Me thinks maybe.   Another work of yours to ponder - thankyou.

Enchantress did not mention tea
So should I offer tarts to thee?
I shall wait for the kettles call
What is food without drink afterall?

Sorry I'm in such a flutter..
Slipped and fell on a bit of butter,
Tea's on now so not to worry.
Didn't know Sy was in a hurry!

Here you go love...Black Currant today.

In the winter of our days,
When spring and summer fall away,
We're warmed by memories that marked our path,
That brought us joy and made us laugh.

Good morning, Mr. T.!

I thoroughly enjoyed your wonderful sonnet!

Have a glorious day!

You lack nothing my sweet Sy-guy...
and I would read your volumes till I was blind.

Seymour, of course I love all of your chronicles,
but this certain part of this poem kind of grabbed me.

Desires lead me by the hand
I danced to music of the band
Fell within the dreamer’s mist
On puckered lips where I was kissed

Maybe the "dreamer's mist" and the "danced to music".......

you are a delight, Sir.

Hugs,
Ethel

(sigh) Yes, we all have journies of our own and we must take the crows nest rather than chase someone elses chronicle, for it all amounts to so much in the end with the anthologies composed together! (big hugggssssss) Keep taking cruise control, dearest friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
