(Author's note:  This is a poem in a continuing set of assignments for a poetry class.  The "frame" refers to a picture of two men tearing down the Berlin Wall.   KJ)

Wall Fall
The poses struck within this frame
Will let you know your life is tame
The force and drive in hand and face
Gives one pause; they state their case

With hammer and chisel they tear apart
As if they rip out from their heart
With visage grim, they’ll not desist
No roar of tide can them resist

The chatter of their flying edges
Drops the walls as if they’re hedges
Around Berlin, the blows are heard
And spirits lift as a soaring bird

How often we can look at a photo
encompassing "someone else's" life...
and silently thank God...
that's not our own face looking back at us...

You have done well in capturing a time,
and a moment, and a cheer...

and a tear...

Well done, Sir!

This is perfect timing! A friend of mine is giving me a little piece of his piece
of the Berlin Wall that he has had for years!

You did a wonderful job with this write! I would like to print it out and keep it with my little treasure!

Warm hugs,
Linda

(sigh) I think to tear down a wall is truly a bold and wonderful accomplishment, to tear down all these boundaries, barriers, and palisades between us all and see just how triumphant it is to recognize the cousins on the otherside and unite into the peaceful army we could be! (big hugggssssss) This is marvelous, sweet friend, good luck on your project, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ken, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Dear 'Shine and E, you're good to me
And Noah drops by with his cheer.
But Linda dear, you make my day
To place my write with you so near.

Many thanks.  Ken

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
