Mother’s day
And mysteries.
Please go on, like you should.

I love my mom,
But where is she?
I’d see her if I could.

And so all say
To love another...
She who took mom’s place.

But ah, you do
Not understand,
She’s entered Heaven’s gates.

And so the tea
Is with another...
Not quite sure her name.

But I can smile.
Tear stain stutter,
Without too much shame.

I’ll brighten days
For other mom’s
Who only have a son.

We’ll have a tea,
By tulips sweet...
And try to have some fun.

- And so it was that time stood still -
     (blink, breathe, stand, fight)

Alyssa,

I read strength and grace in this poem, and yes the pain.   I am in process of having a 20 year old prayer answered. Don't ever give up, miracles happen all the time.

Big hugs and lots of love, Pat

Richy,
thank you for the reply I'm glad you thought it nice.

Pat,
PTL for the prayer being answered in your life. I'll not give up, and I'm still expecting miracles.. maybe its just patience I need ...actually, right now wouldn't be so bad with mother's day, if it weren't that this month would also be my grandmothers birthday. ..but thats alright.
Hugs and love to you, too.

Ericc,
Thank you thats what I wanted it to be.

Always, Alyssa
