I am drowning in my ocean of pain. Doubt wraps its arms around me seductively and I begin to sink. I embrace my death- Doubt- even as I scream, terrified of the lies that entice me deeper into a world of agony. Everything moves so slowly- I can count the bubbles of air as they force themselves from my mouth, following each other to the surface. Vaguely it occurs to me that I ought to follow them, that I need to be at the surface. The surface is life, I think, struggling even to hold that thought, but the idea is elusive, and Doubt is whispering in my ear... Distracted, I sink deeper and deeper, as I get weaker and weaker... Doubt is calling me... I follow my lover eagerly... . Kielo I know only one thing, and that thing is that I know nothing. [This message has been edited by Kielo (05-04-2003 07:20 PM).] |

Hey Kielo, I was going to go for a midnight swim, but I think I’ll wait now till morning now...lol It is hard not to go under with the heavy weight of doubt on your shoulders pulling you down... But the good thing about doubt is that it doesn’t have to be absolute... By it’s sheer definition, whatever it is you are suspicious and uncertain about. May in fact, be something you can depend on, and even have faith in... Do me a favor my friend, and try following those bubbles... It will at least give you more time, to sort things out...
