I’ll have a hot chocolate, please.

The burnt-brown air was tumbling
(in a gritty film nouveau sort of way)
across the ebony and oak glossed tables
(and the demitasse would slide across
the ashes, they were tapped down as
the meaning of life was bulleted out in
the café noir sort of way
that flits from the tips of cigarettes.)

And the smoke asks the question,
is cappuccino an abandonment of purity
or a disembarkment from the rituals of cliché?
(and of course they didn’t
see the chicory waving through black sooted
walls and teeth and brains and poetry.)

Coffee tastes their ears into submission.
I hate coffee.

I like most random varieties of tea. Tea's quite nice tasting. ^_^
