~dedicated to Linda Kay, my sister and her 3 month baby girl, Katie Nicole.

I dusted off the memories of you and me today
Remembering what it was to be children at play
You have your own baby now, my how time flies
It seemed when we were young, life would never pass by

Now that we are grown, I look back at that time long ago
There is something I want to tell you, something you must know
I love you with all my heart sister, you know I always will
The bond we share between us will always be real

Though there were tears and fighting, we have now each found our way
To a place that is wonderful, and it's here I want to stay
Your baby girl is beautiful, she looks the same as you
When she smiles that smile so endearing, her baby eyes of blue

Her little hands clutched tightly as she cries, her face getting red
She must have your temper too, and with all this said
I wish you a lifetime of happiness, with your new husband and baby girl
May you Katie and Nick recieve all the blessings of this world

"love is like a butterfly--
if you chase it,
it will surely fly away,instead
hold it close and watch it grow into
something beautiful"

Beautiful and sentimental-- hope she has seen it.

thank you all for your wonderful
replies. My sister who lives in
Sacramento California is here visiting
my family and I for a couple weeks.
She has Katie, her three and a half
month old baby girl with her. She is
adorable! I just wanted to write something
that would show the love I have for my
sister and the wonderful love and happiness
I wish for her and her new family. Thank
you all for taking the time to read.

Take care.

Very sweet, Amy! I wish them all the happiness in the world!

p.s. you just have a little typo, "recieve". It should be "receive".
