Listening to every heart

Here the Smoky runs by force
and soon will meet Saline
where no salt runs through its course
except by Maidens, green

It seems that legends cast a spell
that by winter’s light we ponder
soon spring sun will spill the well
and lo, the rivers wander…

Here the cedar’s twigs were burned
and nightmares were frightful owned
as Maidens green a love to earn
and loosed the cedar cone

It seems that legends cast a spell
that by winter’s light we ponder
soon spring sun will spill the well
and lo, the rivers wander…

Legends come and legends go
and rivers still they run
as if the thoughts were froze in snow
till the trickling by sun…

It seems that legends cast a spell
that by winter’s light we ponder
soon spring sun will spill the well
and lo, the rivers wander…

Do not bite the sorry stone,
you shall only break a tooth
but let your thoughts fly free and roam
as the light shall shed the truth…

It seems that legends cast a spell
that by winter’s light we ponder
soon spring sun will spill the well
and lo, the rivers wander…

Cedar limbs shall make the song
as flute 'twill grow from limb,
as Maidens green shall love life long
and the Sun shall set by hymn.

Hello Karilea

This was absolutely stunning and I thank you for the most beautiful images.  Your picture was the perfect compliment to your words.

Take care......Sue

IM MOTH GIDDY
and.....its beautiful!!
someones getting a very cool eye with that camera

Will the wind remember the names it has blown in the past?
With this crutch, its old age and wisdom, it whispers no ... this will be the last.

Karilea~ So smooth and easy to read.
Like passing shadows said, "good God, woman! how do you do it?"
The coming of Spring never sounded so good.

This deserves to be kept in a special place so I will keep it in my heart...Paul

Thanks, everyone; both the winter white,
and the green maiden...enjoyed your eyes...
