the ass-end of space

I scrape my fingers
across these walls
in hopes of raising
warmer memories
then those that fill
this tired head
These rooms
remain unchanged,
ancient ruins
in silent testament
to a lost civilization
that rarely comes to visit
There are images
that haunt
this rubble
Vacant eyes
Teeth bared in
seeming smiles
but closer inspection
and reflection
reveal they're
clenched
You really can
never go home again
And I can
finally say honestly
That I wouldn't have
it any other way

Cpat thank you ver much, it's a lesson one has to learn

Thank you sunshine, i know i'm better for it

Inked i guess it can be considered a little sad, but like i said i'm better for it, i don't think i would've had the growth that I've had on my own
