About a Silence

Sunshine hopes
ascend from a garden
where trampled flowers decay

Hearts like groping hands
and
eyes like oceans

Where others were quiet
he speaks in lyrics
not always audible

Nothing more to say
newly discovered
sanctity of a silence

Everything conveyed
simple
and unfettered by pretense

Without words;
not an akward void
but a warm and eloquent gaze
