Take My Hand

I love it when a woman takes
my hand and rubs my fingers.
It makes me feel like
she understands that
I want a woman to
care for me and
touch me soft
and tenderly.
It makes me feel like
less of a jerk to
know that I don't have
to do all the work
to sustain a relationship.
There's something honest
and sincere in a woman's
soft and gentle touch.
When she takes my hand
from that moment forth
I feel like a needed man.
I love it when a  woman
takes my hand.

I've got a friend who has youth onset arthritus, so his hands and all his muscles ache and twinge in pain constantly...
I sometimes take his hand into both of mine and rub them to relieve that tension for just a moment.

I think you wrote this good and really conveyed that the mind can be in that same pain all the time, a pain that only certain gentle touch can soothe.

good write, keep it up.

i'm ticklish. whenever girls rub my palms,
i pull away for the sake of not
laughing hysterically. i'm more of the
hair person. still good job.

sassy.

James,  Gary and I both like the touchey, hand-rubbing thing, so we are always touching.......

Thank you for the insight...surprising how many men will never tell what they want or need. Great enthusiasm. ThisDiamond

James - Wonderful write. I have always adored my husbands hands. His face is youthful, yet his hands show strength of age and a gentle roughness from hard work. Thanks for reminding me to hold his hands this evening. Chris

It's nice to know what goes on in the mind of a man. I'll have to remember that one.
