Even Now, Warring

He came;
it set up a stir
as never before.

Kings came,
worshipped;
lowly shepherds,
stood in awe.

One king rose up in fear,
ordered the slayings,
death all around,
save for
the Protected One.
Fear
does so many things,
as do single-minded ways.

Still today
in the Holy Land,
stirrings,
death, fear
surround the hours,
fill the days,
making peace
naught but a dream,
a hope.

Two-thousand years
of those
not accepting
whom He was,
many still looking,
still dreaming
and many still staying
“Peace on Earth.”

But, one day,
when the house is ready,
Peace will come
as a Thief in the night,
and He will bring the prepared,
the betrothed,
home.

Much to be said...of that moment long ago...

Thanx Virginia...

(big hugggssssssss) Lucky for Him He got the warning not to return to King Herod as He truly wanted to rid of Him and we may never had survived had He went back to Jerusalem! (sigh) The war goes on and I only pray we can only hope for the better and believe in love, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
