“NIGHT TO REMEMBER”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
If a moonbeam should kiss a star,
and the moon itself should once sigh,
it would be like you soft lips touching,
and seeing the tenderness in your eyes…
Mystical would be my whispers in your ear,
tender words not heard even once before,
only enchantment would your being know,
in return your sighs would be of more…
Desire beckons, loves yearning cries out,
once loved, it will not soon be forgotten,
one precious night to remember with you,
words from a romantic pen, of passion…
Bill,
Of all-time favorite lines of yours,
this one is special:
"tender words not heard
even once before."
How special is that! So, too, is this lovely romantic poem.  Smiling.....
Happy holidays,  Hugs,  Pat
=================================
what a lovely image ...
a wonderfully romantic inspire here.
Well done poet sir ...
some one will be swooning the moon for this
Will the wind remember the names it has blown in the past?
With this crutch, its old age and wisdom, it whispers no ... this will be the last.
