Now this is just some things that happened when I was younger that still upset me today.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At school people
Pick
Pick
Pick
If your an ESE student
They call you stupid
Or retarded
Or even a box kid
Whatever that means
It hurts to know your the butt
Of peoples stupid jokes
And then it gets back around to you
And you know its not true
Then guys make bets
On who can get you to like them
And then once you start
To like them
They turn on you
And start rumors
Like your pregnant with their child
And it gets to all your friends
And they believe it
And think your a hoe
A slut
A whore
That hurts so bad
Then people pick fights with you
For no logical reason
Other than they think your hitting on their boyfriend
When you know your not
When you leave school
You think you left the mess behind
But sometimes you have not
But you know one thing
The mess you leave at school
Is more than the one you come home too
At the end of school
You just thank GOD
Your home
And with family and friends
Cold hands means a warm heart
Julie, you really did have a lot of verbal abuse in your life, didn't you? I really hate that happened to you. I know that it can cause scars. Among other types of abuse, my deceased husband did that to me for many years. He did start going to Church before he died and it changed some, but was still there to a certain extinct. It doesn't feel good.....
The people you mention in this one are the first ones I'd destroy in Mortal Kombat. They'd just better pray that I never steal Shang Tsung's soul-thievery abilities.
(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Julie, I'm s sorry you had to go through all of this, sweet friend, I did too and it is so humiliating, and in the short run you can always indeed feel weak but in the long run, they'll realize how stupid and untrue the words said were and they will be dealt with the shame and grief! (sad sigh) I send many healing angel hugs your way, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Love,
Julie
I can remember the mindless behaviour of some kids at school towards others. so cruel and selfish and SO unneccessary. youre so many levels above them julie, your eyes are open, you're aware of thought and emotion, whereas they, are probably still the same old immature, personality lacking idiots they were at school.
you've won that battle, hands down.
this was such a real and touching poem julie, which provoked a lot of emotion, which i think, is making me ramble!
lots of love, gemma xxxxxxxxxx
learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.
