You left me here in this wasteland, You left me to fight alone, You left me for good, And now I know you won’t come home. I can see your face Even though you’re gone. I long to touch you, Even though I will never succeed. So everyday I sing a song You whispered in my ear, Way back when, O’ you say to me, I’ll never leave you. Devin But that promise is broken now. You’ve taken your last bow. The memories fading quicker, The smudges becoming noticeably thicker. But I think of you In every struggle and test You were great, Actually you were the best Even though it’s been so long, The scar will always show, I ‘m just glad you took it slow And that before we parted I told you this... I Love you Mom |

This makes me think of my mothers Mom who died in 1994. I never said I love you before she died. But I think she knew. Great write Cold hands means a warm heart |
