Hey seriously
Are you sure
That this time
Around I'm going to be ok
With who I am
Where I am
And what I'm not doing with my life
You talk about
Choices and changes
And rearranging
That it makes my head spin
With possibilities
And unforeseen causilities
I really think I've lost my
Touch of reality
Lost my sense of creativity
Hey seriously
You really think
That I'm actually going to make
It through another day
Without getting mad
Without wanting to give up
Give in
To this brewing pain
Firmented over the years?
So yeah really
Are you truly positive
That tomorrow like anyother day will be
The best day of my whole entire year
Will I actually smile
At the fact
Of blowing out those candles
On my Birthday cake laced with sugar coated promises
Of another year gone by
Another chance to redeem
My emotional state of mind
And hopeful promises
That soon I'll know what I want
And lead myself in the right direction
I want it to be true
But I know how I am
And how I can be
Intoxicated night after night
With more than just vodka and gin mixed
With negativity
So yeah do I really think
That I'm actually going to be ok
With the choices I'm about to make
And another year
I'm about to face
But who really knows
Just maybe
I'll finally allow myself to be ok...

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.
