Unfinished

My mind traveled along with my body,
the blue ridge soon to be in eyes view,
waiting for my reach.
Wrapped myself in sufferings
promising to shadow less
and be enlightened more in the coming days.
We had hourglass talks,
my tongue walking to nowhere
rehashing broken promises, confessing
the weaknesses that possessed,
the darkness quieting
my window to the world.

I yielded to the memories, reflecting
on the  whys and how comes
but felt cursed to never know the reasonings
behind the price of aloneness...

The world is full of unfinished business ...
but the most unfinished are matters of the heart.

I hope your reach holds true, my friend.
   And ...  instead of walking,
     try a little gliding!!
