Voices call out
in sedated desperation
for me to take heed this night.

all lost ones grieve
to find true meaning’s sieve
…destined for the still waters of How It Happened…

fate choreographs hate,
current politics are swaddled in
ancient miseries

little barren phrases crush roses
into fallacies while oceans
pummel deep wounds with rage

Nothing but wasted potential for the chemical generation

you’ll die too; savagely
for the truth
that was once
illuminated in bright revelations of my love
for all.

wow, strong piece here.
Can't say I quite got everything it meant, but I did and do like it. I can feel the emotions.

Always, Alyssa
