~~~~~~~~~~ I love all my angels collecting more than just a few Each one has a story or maybe even two Coming in all shapes and sizes so beautiful to look upon All are very delicate care took in making every one All of them have wings of course, apparent is that Some of them are standing others have gracefully sat There are the little Cherub's all so cute and cuddly Then some with music boxes playing a sweet melody Those with dove's on their hand's sitting lightly there Seeming very relaxed And having not a care The Guardian Angel's have children all around Comforting and protecting I have surely found Some with out-stretched arms welcoming you right in With an Angel for a friend we will always win ~~~~~~~~~~ [This message has been edited by garysgirl (01-11-2003 08:16 PM).] |

 I collect angels, too, Ethel...all shapes, all sizes, but I have to admit...I only bring home the ones that talk to me. Truth! |

Karilea, most of mine have been gifts through the years....why most of them have stories. But, when I buy one, it's usually one that seems to have a story, too. Kind of odd, isn't it? I love the picture, too. It's beautiful.....  "Love makes the world go around" |

OOOOh, nice to see so many angel lovers here. I am an angel collector as well Ethel - I bet you could have guessed that from my user name. Great poem! Each one is special to me and most of them are gifts. It seems like they find you more and more once you start collecting. I have one friend who is a special angel lover and we always seem to exchange angel gifts each year, or books on angels. This year for Christmas she gave me a glass angel and I gave her a Christmas angel. It is great to share angels with friends. One of the first places I ever posted my poetry was at an "angel site". I've lost the link and have never been able to go back and recover any of my poetry from that site. I did not know then that I should have saved it...I thought the site would just "be there." So now...only the angels have it. Hugs to you, Ethel. |

Marjorie, thank you for reading and replying to my poem. Yes, there are a lot of angel lovers here. I knew that, but didn't know so many collected them. I have friends who also collect angels, so we exchange angels as gifts, too. There are so many different kinds to collect, isn't there? Well, again, thank you... "Love makes the world go around" |
