Fallen Stars By Paul Wilson Darkness envelops shining light another star will fall tonight Stars fall never making a sound kings they once were, each with a crown Many fallen will rise again will this roller coaster ride end Another star was born tonight sadly one must fade out of sight How many more stars will be lost living too fast they pay the cost Self destruction they face each night printed each day in black and white Young and old no preference in choice silence broken by strangers voice Another star will fall tonight losing battle fought in spot light New band plays on to crowds delight Another show tomorrow night A new star will begin his fight replacing one that fell last night Like a flickering candle light another star fades out of sight Curtain closes, exit stage right Tears close the show, last one tonight ~~~ Dedicated to all the stars of stage and screen Who one day must realize their star no longer burns "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (01-12-2003 02:57 AM).] |
