I stubbed my toe awhile ago
but tears still fill the air.
The pain comes raining out of me
with no one here to care.

I wonder how the lonely live
when hurts upon them come.
I stubbed my toe awhile ago
but now it's feeling numb.

Stupid moves I seem to make
whenever ideas show.
I'm wiping off the signs of hurt
the ones that wish to flow.

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."

Whenever we stub either feeling or toe
It seems the world has let us go
It's living alone aye there's the rub
And somehow sad when life we stub.

Nice writing, methinks.  KJ

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
