Not everything is written in a book
Not everything is politically correct
Not everything is straight down the line
Not everything is scientifically correct

So shut up
You think you know everything
When really you haven’t got a clue

You don’t know about emotion
You don’t know about grief
You don’t know how it feels to be lonely
And you don’t even know me

Not everything can be explained in math
Not everything correct comes from your mouth
Not all your opinions are right to me
Not anything you see in me is real

So shut up
You think you know everything
When you haven’t got a clue

You don’t understand that I’m nothing like you
You don’t realise that I’d hate to be the way you are
You're so blind you can’t even see
That you don’t even know me

Not everything in your mind is correct
Not to me and not to the world
Not that you don’t hold some truths
But you doubt other peoples views

So shut up
Yeah you should have your own mind
And you should disagree
But never downcast me
Just because you can’t see
Anything the same way as me.

ugh at those who really thing they know everything.
Can be quite disgusting and when your trying to grieve or get through something or whatever they pretend to care and make some fuss of how they did it ...sometimes it cover on their part, sometimes their just sooooo clueless. And, sorry, got off a bit there.

Always, Alyssa

nice rant, it's always good to get bitterness out of your system.

shame on those myopic people who think they are so right and aren't receptive to the possibility that other views are acceptable too...

you definitely got your point across althought the phrase "shut up" always sounds so rude.
