This moment, as you read
   begins the cycle's need
  memories that must succeed.

Time plays on, bearing down
   one thoughts story hard found
  under pressure, then to ground.

Rippled to stones and sands
   each rock finds what withstands
leaving dust to winds filled hands ...

The moral to this tale,
   heavy minds do not fail
but hard times weaken one's sail.

Fear is a blindness, heart is the cure.   -   C. Belville 02

Life is hard but it is these such times that we remember and, hopefully, learn from. Like a rock!

Again, thanks for the comments my friend.

Craig, you have a way with words...different, but good.
You are very talented....

I liked this.. very interesting and made me think.
But.. and sorry if offended at all.. I'm thinking heavy minds do fail, and the harden times bring lessons which bring strength.
I'm gonna read this a couple more times, its interesting.

very well written- it is hard to stay strong when so many odds are against you. for some reason this poem reminded me all too well of my very best freind who committed suicide last year, may he rest in peace. thank you

ME~

I sing to life
To it's tragic beauty
To pain and strife
Let all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I lived through it all

Time to strengthen that canvas, batten down the hatches, and just go for it, head straight into the wind.
