somebody's dungeon

When I wake to the light of love
there with Him who reigns above,
I will look with tear filled eyes
I'll listen for the tiny cries.

Each small life that was cut short
with callous thought in the abort,
infant lives, a blow was dealt
a mother's kiss was never felt,
instead a life was taken quick
dear God the world has fallen sick.

I'll hold each one in my embrace
touch gentle each and every face,
to wipe the tears, a loving task
to answer when the question's asked,
"why was my life taken away,
I never saw the light of day?"

This my thought while in this world
how many boys, how many girls,
will die before they ever see
beyond the womb of their mommy?

Yes, upon arrival at the gate
I'll hurry in, not hesitate,
to comfort lives that were cut short,
with callous thought in the abort.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Anne, it is very tragic, dearest friend, I can't even begin to imagine how saddening it would be if I was never born and never got to see the eyes of my mom or sisters or dad or anyone here at Passions and it saddens me to know the truth this happens to children every day! (wipes tears) My heart cries out to the children and their mothers who are victimized by these aborts, dearest friend, this is a very sensitive and angelic prayer, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

And that's the most wonderful thing about creating. It will always be a mystery.

This is powerful and I take my hat off for your courage. The pen is mightier than the sword. God Bless!!

Excellent poem and faithful message.
But you really must be more politically correct!   (Just kidding!!!!!!)

I've been arrested twice for my feeble attempts to prevent such murders.

This is very sad to think about, Anne. You wrote about it well. I share your thoughts in this.

It takes a very loving heart to tackle such a sensitive subject and do it so caringly.  Nicely done.
