Lost And Deceived Many people that we come across, in the world are spiritually lost, Following what they think is true, coloring all that they say and do. Direction from others isn’t sought, living what they’ve been taught, Some not knowing why they believe, in the end shall be deceived. Deceived, for they never heard, The Truth which is in God’s Word, The only Truth confirmed by one, who happened to be God’s Son. Many are deceived by His enemy, wanting to destroy you and me, The god of this world blinding minds, creating religion of all kinds. Schools of thinking in reproof, to dissuade men from God’s Truth, Pools of ignorance all around, where ideas of God can’t be found. As God’s people were destroyed, where ignorance was employed, Satan wants to keep men ignorant, of Jesus Christ, who God sent. Religion is Satan’s crafty way, to sow ignorance till Judgment Day. Ignorance towards God’s Grace, so pious men don’t seek His face, Keeping them doing what they do, so they don’t seek what is True. Man’s only way to Eternal Life, is The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Christ’s Truth by many is believed, but, rejected by those deceived, Satan let’s you do all you want, as long as Truth you don’t confront, The Bible is the source for everyone, to find and receive God’s Son, Faith comes from hearing when; the source is God’s Word my friend. His Spirit opens eyes of the blind, while speaking to heart and mind, And once Christ’s Spirit is received, one won’t be eternally deceived. For when God’s Truth you do believe, His Salvation you will receive, But only a few choose to be wise, and allow The Spirit to open eyes, Embracing Christ in joy and elation, while accepting God’s Salvation. Bob, Very Powerful words of Truth expressed here in your poem. Well done. My favorite line was … quote: … because it so closely follows the scripture (Romans 10:17) that states that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Again, thank for sharing and God bless. -Bob |
