Just Listening

Each time I kneel to pray
I need no words to say
For Heaven filled with violins
Releases words that angels send
Upon their wings that do descend
A chorus to my soul
And there the voice so sweet within
Brings thoughts to mind that’s never been
Yet, now, believed, I can begin
To know who’s in control
Of everything and everyone
The Father, Spirit, and the Son
All three have come and have begun
To form a perfect whole
Where Father God created me
And Jesus died and set me free
And through His Spirit I can see
I’m Loved by God today
Each time I kneel to pray.

God bless,
Lighthouse Bob

Since I’ve fulfilled Joyce’s challenge here, the challenge that I proposed earlier which was to write a poem, any type of poem, that begins with the first line “If ever I forget” is still open for your poetic pleasure. Happy writing to All and to All God bless.

Wonderful job again Bob and I will accept your challenge when I have a little more time to write.  Love, Joyce

So nicely you've pictured the blessings of the Holy Trinity.  Thank you.
