Look For Light His Gifts To Come Do not think prayers go unanswered, Do not think He doesn’t listen near All the words in mouth or mind To His heart he holds them dear… Your time and mine is not His to bear He has reigned in millions to our one down here, So when you pray, know for what you ask For it may be gift given, or it may become a task… And in His time he will be sending To you your prayer while on knees bending, So struggle not to question what when it comes Just remember He is whom it is from. Wow! Even that last line, praying to live up to His love's measure. Did that ever impact me. How far I am from His measure of love....His undying, unconditional, perfect love. This drove me to soul search. Thank you so much! Rae |

Very nice Sunshine~ I so agree how all prayers are answered.  How you spoke about God reigning for the 'millions' compared with us being here for the 'one' is absolutely comforting~ Brings a rest to the soul. |

Drew in that lovely ray of light you sent. Life can at times be very difficult and through trying moments it may seem like nobody is there. But God is always there. we must learn to open ourselves to receive Him and not ask amiss. His desire is to lead us into the safety of the living truth. Thankyou for your lovely poem. |

GentlePiPeople... Thank you. I posted this in a time of a black moment, when I was in deepest search for some answers, and accordingly, I haven't looked back on this until just today. So, while we could mark it up to prayers being answered, or coincidences just "given", or to that ever annoying term of today, being "whatever", I "found" this poem again, today, and realized, WOW...how I must have been in need. I had totally forgotten that I had posted this again. I was too busy trying to make things right in my life again. I was giving it all to Him. And I am glad I did. I gave it to Him, and put it "out there"... and wound up, by mid-June [His time] by being asked to begin a new life on July 2. Indeed, "look for light, His gifts to come" has been good to me... and if anyone disagrees? Take it to Philosophy.  Thank you all for your blessed and wonderful comments. |
