Failure.. Such a dark and dreary word Leaving no room for repentance It empties the soul of hope Look up my friend And see the light of the Son He shines upon your face Waiting to hear your prayer Lost without hope, All failures lie Wanting a way out Having no more tears to cry When alone in the darkest night Reaching your hand toward the sky With a voice choked with sorrow Swallow your pride and cry Jesus is there in the dark with you Holding on with the nails in his hands A failure himself in the world view You and He are strangers in this land He walked through Hell to find you He left Heaven behind to become one of you His peace He gives to you His Salvation He offers to you Failure.. WELL SAID!!!! Very good poem. If only all would be able to go to Heaven, yet we know that more will go the other way. Excellent write. Gave me goosebumps, or what I call Godbumps when it comes to Scripture and the Christian walk. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |
