Unprotected Text

Why hide behind a façade,
Or sieve my words to evade
The truth that brews within made
To expose oneself by pen ink charade

The words I write, so revealing
Leaves naked my thought and feeling
Written without restraint, I’m bleeding
On paper my soul's secrets unveiling
My unprotected text.

not sure about this one but hope you like it or have suggestions.

Oh, yes you did a good job.
It takes courage to risk our vulnerablity, but write we must, no matter what. Thanks for sharing.

Warmly,

Ah now Hayden, we could give you the answers, but we would not want to inhibit your search...because it IS so very, very personal...

this is good. Very good!

The title "Unprotected Text" intrigued me.

Turned out to be a very clever, and apt, title for this gem of a write! I want more unprotected text from you! tehe I think I'm going to enjoy sharing your journey with you!

The title drew me in, the message kept me reading. We do bleed out our hearts in our words don't we? Great one

This is a very raw write in which you have exposed yourself. I like it.

Hayden, I think you have captured very well
the feelings that a poet faces when sharing their poetry. This is one that we can all relate to. enjoyed.

Hayden, I really like your work. This tells very well how most poets write our feelings down. But, you know what? I think that when people write of the real feelings in their hearts and minds, the work just kind of reaches out to others more. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

With Love To All,
