“ME AND THE MOON”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
It comes in many different shapes,
quarter, half, full, and some more…
Don’t know which one I like better,
they all make me think of amour…
If a pretty woman would take my arm,
I’d romance her through the night…
Hold her close, have her feel special,
whisper thoughts in the moonlight…
Dance with her while sipping wine,
waltz passionately under the trees…
Show her moonbeams in the dark,
listen to breezes kissing the leaves…
When I look up at that shining sphere,
inside I feel all these strange things…
Its love and romance what happens,
me and the moon, gives me yearnings…
(smiles) Awwwwwwwww, this is sooooooo gorgeous, sweet friend, always think of the crescent moon as her smile, the full moon as her face of porcelain, and the solar eclipse like that first kiss which transformed your world into one of magic! (big hugggssssss) This is breathtaking, sweet friend, this is one of my favorites from you yet, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Love,
Bill
I think you have a moon in your heart...so you can be romantic, even in the rain.
BC, you have enchanted us all with the romance that glows from your beautiful moon.
A lovely romantic poem, Bill... I'll bet that even if you met her in the daytime... the moon would shine in the sky
Bill darling heart, you know there is within your words such beauty, and you shade it so delicately and deepen the connection to the heart so skilfully. Wonderful writing darling heart, absolutely wonderful, you know I utterly utterly love this.
you write the refrain that sings in my soul, how do you do that? Whatever you do it so well
Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy
Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
The moon affects me the same way. Only I enjoy a handsome man on my arm, not a woman! tehe
What a lovely evening this would make.
