A Single Snowflake

a breeze blew in
from the north
a tender whisper to
the south came forth
sparked in a dusting
of unexpected snowfall
a silent morning walk
brought about this call
a flake came to rest
on the nape of my neck
I had to catch my breath
and keep my heart in check
for he had sent me
a single snowflake
to soothe the heat
of my ache

I’m not disappointed,  I never expected anything from you.

Helen, I really like this. It's really beautiful. I love snow, though we don't see much here in Florida. Thanks for sharing.

(sigh) This is so gently touching and aching, sweet friend, and may he keep delivering you these snowflakes so you know you will always be loved deep down and remembered! (kiss on cheek) This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
