Beyond the Wall

I see the past in ghostly sigh
It sweeps before my inner eye.
It waves to me in phantom play
And asks me, would I like to stay?

It offers me a grail of think
The fluid is a moment’s drink.
A fantasy a realm of seem
Not quite real yet not quite dream.

It plays upon the heart of me
And steeps like an exotic tea.
Euphoria the nectars taste
Since ecstasy was the base.

And I float away into the sky
To touch upon the things of sigh
And happiness brings hidden joy
Like a child with new found toy.

It is a place within us all.
It’s just beyond the doubters wall.

How like a good memory to be the anesthesia for so much around us that we would wipe out with one thought of something from yesterday that made us smile...

and how like you to be my morning sigh....

Thank you

I especially enjoy this poem. It causes me to grin ear to ear and causes me to reflect.

And the line...
"The fluid is a moment's drink"
is brilliant. Love it!

Thanks,

Lovely texture to this....it seems it would be quite fitting to use "Sy" in place of "sigh."

LOL

(smiles) Awwwww, I love the whimsical melody and innocence in this, sweet friend, yes, always sip the euphoria slowly and let it fill your whole soul rather than drinking it all at once! This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
