Your soft barely there
grasp over my forefinger,
Delighted as tiny
Grey eyes searched
In the direction of
My voice

My little one,
My "lil peanut"

Tears have amassed
To the heavens
Covered your tiny
Perfect form in prayers
until our souls rent in two

Exhausted,
You, We, I,
Let go the struggle
In search of peace...
First yours,
Then hopefully, one day,
Ours...

I went thru this with my first two daughters....though, they were the ones I lost...One lived one day...the other three days....and I do sympathize with you and your daughter....may you find the strength and encouragement you and your daughter will need over the next several weeks....it will never be forgotten, but will be eased...bless you...and know you have my prayers.....I'm not serious very often, but I have been there....and bless you...Toe

I know there are no words to dull this pain but may the thought that this child is in the arms of angels, eternally loved, cared for and painless bring some solace. My deepest sympathy for so great a loss.

i look at my kids even today as they are older now, and i guess
from when they first were given life, this
must be the greatest pain of all for a woman
