I Got Angry At You For Leaving Me ( when my husband died) |

Being born with a condition of the heart Your whole life through, doctors thought you would part But you surely fooled them, by giving such a fight Until the end came, you held on, with spite Not letting your health get the best of you Doing all the things anyone else could do Nobody knew about your very weak heart Your not looking sick, even I didn't know at the start All through the years, even when in pain You worked, laughed and played, joked like insane A practical joker, making people laugh with you I never knew what to expect, or what funny thing next you'd do Even when you got sick, most times you'd wear a smile Always having lots of friends to come stay for a while Then, one day your lungs started giving out Again, surprising the doctors at how you could get about Many times over, they thought you would die As in the hospital, I would be by your side But you fooled us all, until right to the end Going home, living again, just like you'd always been Then the last time you were in the hospital, there You held my hands, as you told me where You had to go, away, up into the sky As we both, together, did cry Telling me that, you didn't want to go Saying you were so tired, to do anything else, you didn't know So left me, you did, as the Angels came for you Leaving me alone, but not because you wanted to |

 So sad, but you did share a lifetime of love together. Scary thing about this? I too have a troublesome heart. I was originally expected to exit this world when I was six months old. I was just too much in love with wanting to explore life I guess, and refused to leave. |

I know how it feels to lose someone you love, I lost my mother back in 1980. Good write to express the emotions. |

Sybil Kacy Capt. Ron Mr. Toe Dixie Raph Noah Martie I sincerely thank each and every one of you for replying to my poem. You are all so sweet and understanding. I can't express to you all how much your responses, and the love and compassion I feel through them, means to me. You have all helped me so much. Until I came here to Passions, I always kept these feelings inside (except with Gary). If I didn't think that you people have good hearts and are kind and compassionate, I wouldn't let these feelings out even now.
