Last night while working real hard
Riding mower and sprucing the yard
A stranger  pulled in
and got out with a grin
Having all the looks of a card.

He waved and walked towards me
As I stopped quite reluctantly
And said with a squeak,
in a voice that was meek
He had no idea where he be

Now men are strange, as women well know
We always think we know where to go
Asking directions if lost, to be avoided at all cost
Or others may just think us too slow

He asked for a place I’d never been
And I could  not seem to get from him
Where he started on this trip,
Or where thought he’d made a slip
(His chances were looking grim)

then he asked to please use the phone
But all he got was a busy tone.
and asking  if he could pee
Out behind that big old tree
Cause” beer” he said ,”is  just on loan”

Now lying is nothing to start
And I don’t consider it my art
But my patience with him
Had started to thin
It was time for him to depart

I told him” take the next right,
And travel till he saw the sight,
Of a barn that they’d painted blue,
Then a left at the road past the slew
Would get him there tonight.

Lord Knows where he ended up….

(giggles in delight) Almost had me thinking of that scene in Rat Race where the ladies refuse to buy a squirrel and they ask for the interstate and she talks them into going through a dangerous chasm with signs saying "you should have bought a squiirel!"! LOL! Looks like it'll be a while before he finds the road, anyway, I love this, yay! (giggles in delight) We all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Figured as much. That's okay, though. Just wanted to see you smile through the glass.

Think you did, too.

See Duncan..I do have a sense of humor.. (laughing) some situations are just too absurd to let pass...this was one of them. If he is a memebr, then I deny that this is anything but a figment of my imagination
