slipping through the window
of a cool nights mystery
the substance of shadows made real
by desire or necessity
To rake the wind
with anothers thoughts
was to find power where
there had been none.

Well done.
Maybe I need to go rake some wind, and leave the leaves alone to fall where they May.

~K,  this  reminds me of something Ayn'ish....for some reason... maybe a bedroom scene? can't remember which book, or even character's name...my biggest regret is getting rid of all those books. Darn!

By the way like this a lot...

Warm Regards, Pat...

Thanks everybody!!! My original intention with this poem was sort of an ode to the imaginary friend I had in childhood ~ now it also reminds me of the connections made on-line with wonderful people like yourselves!

and this happens to be the equvelency of my
doors and the wind

the wind blows so
as that when the doors are slamed the door as been looked from the inside out,

and kindly these things will happen

Kindly,
